Quality product that just works
Bought the CHEFFANO Meat Grinder, 2600W Max Stainless Steel Meat Grinder first based on its good reviews as I had zero meat grinding experience. The Cheffano worked well for the first 3 grinds grinding 2lbs of chopped up up silver side at a time. It then stopped pushing the ground up meat out but would still keep running. After cleaning it out it would only work for another ~1lb or so and then stop working again. Called Amazon but could not get any debug help so returned it. Looked at other meat grinders with good reviews but decided I will just have to pay more for a better quality grinder. So after much debate ordered the Weston butcher series that was 4x more money. The Weston is a heavy commercial grinder and was simple to set up. It just grinds the meat effortlessly when the meat is just dropped down its feeder throat without having to push it down like was the case with the Cheffano. I now grind about 20 lbs of meat per week and feel I got my monies worth with this new Weston.

it's a beast
Used twice so far. Got an ssc foot switch and much better to use! This #12 grinds fridge temp brisket as fast as I can feed it. Then immediately double ground.. Made golf balls that dropped right in and fed perfectly. No fat smearing. 3lbs brisket ground twice in about 60 seconds actual motor run time.

This is a workhorse!! I LOVE IT!!!
I purchased this grinder because I switched my dogs to a raw diet and they are all seniors, over 12. My Yorkie has no teeth at all and one of my other ones has only a few left in the back. They cannot chew up bones and big chunks of meat. I also saw the larger grinder, the 1HP and I really wanted that but it was not available so I purchased this and it has been fantastic. I grind every 2 weeks and even though it is not really intended for bones, it will power through turkey necks and even a whole rabbit and oxtails with no problems at all. It doesn't make any strange sounds or slow down either. It is sturdy, well-made and actually way quieter than I would have expected. Very impressed with this grinder and if I need to purchase another one in the future I will get a Weston. I highly recommend this to anyone, especially if your dogs are on a raw diet. Makes the whole process so fast.

Would buy again, but I don't think I'll ever need to
I bought this for my cat food operations and do not regret it. I bought his model because it's rated to handle bones, while the smaller models are not. It's easy to clean and sanitize. It grinds up chicken bones (bone-in thighs) very easily. You don't have to cut up the chicken thighs at all; they'll fit whole. I've used it four times already and it makes quick work of everything. Pro tip: Run your organ meats through first, then the chicken, that way you don't have to clean the end piece and blades twice to clear it of cartilage. Pro tip #2 If you do a mix of boneless and bone-in chicken, buy it already deboned! It's well worth the time it otherwise takes to debone 50 thighs.

Best grinder out there!
The media could not be loaded. I did my research and spent weeks searching for the right grinder and I found it! The Weston Grinder #8 does the job extremely well. I made up a batch of bratwurst that were out of this world. I highly recommend this quality machine. The fact that it’s stainless steel won me over... it’s easy to clean, easy to assemble and works like a champ!

Bad Weston
I ordered this grinder to replace another failed Weston grinder and there was no blade. NO BLADE. First of all, how does this even happen? I have animals to feed, I need this grinder right away. So I called their "toll free customer service number" which should be called the "toll free customer NO service number" and got a voice recording telling me to email them. What exactly is the need for a phone number that tells you to email them? Beats me. Now I have to buy a grinder from another company before getting a refund. They should have a HUMAN answering the phone and offering to overnight me a blade at their expense No excuse for this level of incompetence.

Great at home grinder
Nice upgrade from a small countertop grinder. Use it to process venison that I harvest, can easily handle about 2"x2" chunk of meat, so less time cutting. It was slow going while stuffing on the grinder, I would reccomend getting a dedicated stuffer. Happy with the Weston Brand.

Must have for dog owners feeding raw food.
I have only used it to grind meat and bones for my dogs but it has changed my world. Absolutely love it. Heavy. Quiet. Great quality and easy to clean. I would highly recommend it for my fellow dog owners that only feed their dog raw food. Grinds chicken bones like they don’t even exist.
