so on each masacara or lash review i have been leaving my backstory: i have recently really wanted to try lash extensions and even had appointment scheduled but just realized its a bit much for me. Not only it is expensive but visits are 2 hours long at least and need constant fill ins. Am afraid if i try just once, i will love it so much that i will want to keep getting them done and its just not something i want to upkeep or pay for at this time on a routine basis. was looking for the next best thing. Of course we know that mascara will not be the same as false lashes so one has to be realistic here but i wanted to find the one that came the closest. i was currently using Benefit "They're real" and found this to be great so far and was using a Lancome primer. had tried other fiber mascaras that had fibers w/the mascara itself so did not need the primer. these did not work as well for me and the best one i found actually was so hard to get off and clumped like tar almost so i had to finally send back. i like the primer being separate b/c for my bottom lashes i do NOT want them to have the fibers so simply do not use the primer but can still use my own mascara. i also tried magnetic liner/lashes and just the lashes. was not a fan of any of it so was going back to the mascara....this primer is the best so far! every mascara claims to thicken and lengthen and be 3D. the key (at least for me) is finding one that has fibers in it and the best is when they are in the primer. I have normal, decent lashes so the fibers really add to that nicely and make a huge difference in length and volume. Then i use my own mascara (so Benefit They're real and lancome grandiose are my favorites) and it looks great. Again, if i compared side by side of my wearing false lashes compared to the mascara, of course they do not look the same. however when i just wear the mascara w/o a comparison, i have in fact been asked if i got the extensions b/c compared to what i had before, its a huge difference. so i am very happy w/that outcome.

This is a quality product I can only recommend. So far, I have only bought it from professional beauty supply where you need a cosmetology license to shop and when I found it here on Amazon, I was happy.The product is really easy to apply, does not clump, does not smudge, extends the lashes and coats evenly. My natural lashes are blond, so I always look for a bit of dramatic application.I have super sensitive eyes and this is one of the few eye lash primers I can wear. The built-in lash conditioner prevents breakage.The image I am posting is ONLY 1 coat of primer coupled with the Grande Mascara, applied at 4:30am this morning. I know one should always remove make-up at night, but at times I fall asleep on the couch and I don't wake up until it's time to get up again...and my eye make-up is still the same like the day before.I can only recommend it. This is a great product for people with super sensitive eyes.

I had purchased the mascara by this brand and later decided to try the primer. The mascara is a thick black formulation, so, you don't need much primer, Still, I liked the primer because I have really thin and short lashes. But, when I use the primer it gives me more volume and length. Be sure to let it dry down before applying mascara. Actually, I think this will work with any mascara. I have used Lancome primer before and this is on par with that one.

I have purchased this product several times to thicken my lashes. I am allergic to the commercial glue and cannot use extensions. I have used several primers, and this by far does offer the best length & thickener. However, if I could find a product with longer shelflife, I would be a lot happier. After about 1-1/2 months, this tends to dry out very quickly and literally becomes useless. Much too expensive for that short longevity. I keep reading the reviews for someone to tell me one that lengthens and thicken ad this one does but performs overtime better. The reviews that says that it’s too expensive for the results are correct.

Great price, great product. Keeps eyelashes conditioned and makeup comes off easier

I notice a difference in lash growth with the serum (when I am faithful to use it every night) but I did not notice enough difference with the pre-mascara lengthener to get excited about it.
