Title says it all. Basically, after carefully following instructions which are printed on the box (which came damaged), this device simply does not work as it will not loop the stitch on the back side of the material. Poor quality but was not expecting much due to the low cost (however, was still expecting that it would at least work on thin fabrics needing emergency hemming or quick temporary repairs). Despite the low cost and Amazon’s great return policy, still ended up having to spend time/trouble and cost of gas to return it to a return center. Save yourself the time and trouble and look for another option.

Great for travel

If your objective is to sew a single sheet of thin and i mean thin material then this is the product for u. If u would like a hand stitcher to fix a simple hem, pull, or tear i suggest u move on and find a different product. Perhaps one of the old hand held electric ones from the 90's.

Terrible in all aspects

Needle broke... can't find replacement needle. Was testing it in various fabrics not great for a thick one . Broke at tip went to look for replacement could find one. Ordered universal needles but based on the length of the previous one it may not work.

It works but it is a bit difficult to use. I didn’t think sewing by hand would be easier but it is if you know what you’re doing

The box was opened and there was not an instruction book included. The tool to thread the needle almost impossible to use. The outside of the box where you would expect instructions is in what I think is Chinese.

The media could not be loaded. The box it came in was damaged and cheap the threading was tangled up. The product works but if using for a long period of time the hand starts to cramp.
