I never thought of getting a scale this precise. As far as I can tell, it actually does work and is accurate. Comes with a 20 g weight which it does calibrate perfectly to 20.00g. also comes with a couple of trays for different materials, a pair of plastic forceps, and an integrated cover. It's a small size so easily storeable and portable. Also wireless. There isn't really a separate place to store the weight or the forceps but all the other things can be stored under the cover.

It’s a super accurate scale. Great price two. The 4 stars is because the metal weighing tray doesn’t cover the space and you can drop product in the cracks. Also the texture of the plastic has ridges and makes it harder to clean. If you are weighing “neat” items like jewelry it’s amazing.

If you are working with smaller or finer powders (i.e., if +/- .001 g actually matters to you), then this scale SUCKS. I have two other scales which claim to have the same precision, this one is consistently inaccurate. I think this should have been a scale with precision that is = (+/- .01g) and they gave themselves and extra decimal place. I threw it away because it is worthless for my purposes. Find a slightly more expensive .001g scale, you won't be sorry. Anyone who claims the scale is precise to that level is too dumb to realize it, or I got a bad scale....either way, not a smart purchase.
