A beast of a Wi-Fi
No issues whatsoever. It does the job, very good app control and functions. You don't have to be an expert to setup. 3 bedroom brick house and fully covered when it comes to the signal. Looks great and good quality. The best WI-FI I ever had.

Super Fast, Great Security, Intuitive GUI and App
Not the cheapest WiFi Router out there but the Nighthawk RS700 qualifies its price tag with its sheer performance, blinding WiFi speed and simplicity of set up. I actually have 2 of these routers covering my home with one working as a gateway and the other acting as an access point. Coverage is great, transfer and data speeds are super fast and Armour just keeps getting better and better. Fast and stable with great coverage, a simple intuitive app for set up with a great GUI for more complex configurations, this router has the right blend of great functionality, cutting edge tech and ease of use. So good as I said I bought 2

No support from Netgear beyond changing settings
I have given this product, the netgear rs700 1 star as it does not work properly with Apple Airplay and Sonos speakers over ethernet and Netgear can't solve the problem/give no support (I have to use ethernet to the speakers as all the neighbours have WIFI running and there is not enough channels on 5ghz and 2.4ghz, so ethernet solves the interference problems)If you add another brand of hub into the equation then it works and Netgear don't know why.I have been in contact with Netgear support about this problem from 10th Feb 2025 and it's now 25th May 2025, that's 104 days and no fix.In the beginning they kept coming up with small tweaks in the settings, none of which helped and I had already tried, they asked for diagnostics and progressed to 2 level supportThere have been no fixes or progress. This is a typical response from them, and guess what, nothing happened, no reply after this, nothing."NETGEAR Support Agent2025-04-28 17:42:33Hi T,Thank you for the follow up email.I will try to request specific progress for this case.I will get back to you once I get an update.XXXNetgear Level 2 Support"and a month later, guess what, NOTHING!To me, when you buy a product, you pay for the product and also support, however, Netgear don't give you support, just the 'brush off' if it's outside of changing a few settings, I'm really not joking here, they don't fix issues.Don't buy from Netgear, their support is appalling and they simply fail to fix their problems with their devices.Router itself is nice, and the WIFI 7 is strong and has a good range, but if you want something more than just browsing, like Music over the internet with your favourite speakers, don't take a chance with Netgear, use another brandI hope this helps your decision

Great replacement for Hub 3, brilliant range
I've had issues with VM Hub 3 since I got it- it's not fit for purpose, and have had to reset it so many times to get the signal back up. As a modem, the Hub 3 works fine- and this Netgear router is outstanding in terms of performance and range. You get the two bandwiths (2ghz & 5ghz) and the option of setting up a guest wifi- the app that accompanies it is really useful and you can access the router remotely, as well as see all devices online and control usage as required (never disconnected one, but it's nice to have the option if it gets too busy). Finally getting the performance my ISP advertises, just not through their kit. I got it on a discount, and while £90 seemed a lot to fork out for wireless router, it's recommended- I live in a near 200 year old terraced house and signal works at least 100 feet from the house and on all floors. Absolutely zero issues with setup once the modem was sorted (not a netgear issue).

Not great Signal
The router does well to maintain high speeds but lacks the signal strength to work through walls. It managed to get a signal to a dead spot in the property, but was unable to provide anything over 30-50 Mbps, and often the signal will drop out in the dead zone.Exchanged for a mesh network system.

Good, but not excellent
Good and and reliable connection. Yet, The range of signal is not as great and Two Lan's do not work, as aggregation. No problem with connection stability and speed.. yet, something is out of order

Excellent performance with Vodafone Full Fibre 500
Bought this to replace the Vodafone supplied router as it was a bit underwhelming with its Wi-Fi range, speeds, and buggy firmware. With Vodafone you will need to ask them for your PPPoE username and password. The Netgear RS100 appealed to me as it was relatively cheap (does not have 6GHz Wi-Fi), from a reputable brand with decent support / firmware updates. It works really well, my broadband speeds are 500/70 which is what the Vodafone supplied router got but the RS100 is more consistent (using ethernet cable and over Wi-Fi) and web browsing feels more responsive. My PlayStation 5 also works really well with UPNP working as expected. If you want a no nonsense router that is affordable you cant go wrong with this, just make sure it is what you need as it doesn't support mesh networks (meaning for good coverage throughout your entire home you need to place it somewhere central), and lacks 6GHz Wi-Fi. The most interesting feature though is you can also disable the LED lights from blinking when there is network activity :-)
