Never to get your hand burnt again!
A Great idea someone came up with. Grip is great, saves you from burning your hand. I bought one for all our iron skillets.

Does the job with exceptions
I wish they fit tighter on the handle but with the rim handle able to manipulate the pan all right

Average protector
Reasonably heat protective. Can get hot. Handles are very loose for a lodge cast iron pan handle.

Fits well and stays cool.
The pot handles were getting very hot and impossible to hold with bare hands. So, We bought these to hold pots after cooking. Fits snugly and stays cool.

Too thin- feel the hot handle
The handle of your cast iron skillet gets hot even with this protective Handle cover .. it is not thick enough for my hands … I don’t want to be worried if it too hot to grab..

Too loose on all of the cast iron sizes I own.
Poor fit. This handle cover is too loose on all the cast iron pans I have. Old vintage ones in 6", 10" and 14", new Lodge ones in 12" and 14". This gave it a poor grip, and mocement which made holding the cast iron sort of slippery.I also didn't like that you couldn't leave the handle on the cast iron while cooking, it wasn't supposed to get hot. You were supposed to just put it on the move the pan around after cooking. What good is a cover for a pan handle when you can't use it while cooking? Thst made it absolutely non functional for me and was a no go.The only thing these had going for them was their color. The black if I wanted to leave it attached blended nicely for serving a crowd, and the red for home use because it was easy to see in the drawer.
